Islands float in a sea of blue, while large cumulus clouds boil up over them. An occasional volcano is seen. Palm trees make this tropical, and the outrigger canoes give the feeling of the South Pacific. Though there is lettering with Islands Caribbean, islands tropical, North Pacific ocean, North Atlantic ocean and more along with zones and numbers, the feeling is definitely that of the deep South Pacific.

Colors are shades of cherry red, dusty pinkish clay, golden yellow, sage, blue, sky, beige, and black with white. Colors have been over-printed and many other colors are seen. The effect from a distance is of shades of teal blue, pale blue, and sea green, with sage, pinky clay, golden yellow, brown, beige, and white, punctuated with red, and accented with orange and black, with charcoal printing.

This fabric is 55 3/4" wide. The island with the three palms, volcanoes, and two canoes is about 11 ( 27.94 cm. ) tall and is about 15" ( 38.10 cm. ) across. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. This has a matt dry look and feel. It has a corded weave for added texture. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvets, etc.
