While I had been gone a lot of melting had taken place. But, a week ago today, snow was flying! Such is March in Maine. The next two days I did not get outside, as I was playing catch up with orders. And on Wednesday I had my right eye operated on for cataract.

I was born with mono-vision: my right eye sees close-up, my left sees distance. The left one was done 18 months ago. It took forever for my brain to retrain! It is definitely difficult to do a lot of close-up seeing right now, but this one seems to be getting better more quickly than my left one did.

Many thanks for all of you well wishers!
It has been appreciated!

_____________________________________________

Having been out of the loop,
so to speak, for the last two weeks,
I will try to catch up on things!
But, as I can not drive,
pictures will be few for a while.

Friday- March 23, 2012

This week has been a busy one. On Monday it was 9 degrees when I got up! That is just plain cold! It warmed up into the ’30’s by mid-day, which was great, as the phone rang around noon. A shipment of fabric would be at the bottom of the hill in 5 minutes! I grabbed a jacket, pulled on my boots, and headed out to the car. By the time I got down the hill to the road, the semi was pulling up.

After loading the bolts, I headed back to the barn door, with Spot racing along side the car. It turned out to be several bolts of both the blue seahorse coral fabric and red seahorse coral fabric.

BLUE CORAL SEAHORSE FABRIC

RED CORAL SEAHORSE FABRIC

This is probably the most popular seahorse fabric we have.
It features two different seahorses
with three different coral trees in two colors.
It is unique!
Last year the red sold more than the blue;
this year the blue is out selling the red.
As it takes 8 weeks to get,
and this time of year is known as Seashell Madness,
I am glad we have ample stock!

We also carry it in green.

GREEN SEAHORSE CORAL FABRIC

You can see them all in the
Seahorse Fabric Category

_________________________________________

On Tuesday it snowed hard.
