Dog fabrics are far and few between.
\nBut we thought it would be fun to take a look back at those we have had!<\/p>\n

DOG SILHOUETTE FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This black and white dog fabric was unique-
\nas it featured silhouettes of many dog breeds.<\/p>\n

Another fabric that featured more than one dog
\nwas this dog library fabric.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This was a P. Kaufmann fabric called Best in Show.
\nIt featured dogs on chairs,\u00a0 stools, and dog beds,
\nwith ribbons,\u00a0 medals, and cups
\nin a library.
\nThis was one of those patterns where the more one looked,
\nthe more one saw.
\nThere are books open to pictures of dogs,
\na picture of horses and hounds, and-
\nStaffordshire dog figurines.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0 P.Kaufmann\u00a0 fabric\u00a0 featured a variety of dogs,
\non furniture from the country from which
\nthe dogs originated .<\/p>\n

The red background was vivid!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Many\u00a0 dog fabrics feature two different breeds.<\/p>\n

Scotties and a Pekingese shared space on this pattern by Kaufmann.
\nThis was a cheerful pattern with the dogs on their pillows,
\nsurrounded by wreaths of seasonal leaves,
\non a background of background with bright blue stripes.
\nThe stripe of red leaves adds even more color and interest.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This dog fabric by Covington featured dogs and large bouquets of flowers
\ngiving the effect of dogs in a garden.<\/p>\n

This\u00a0Brunschwig & Fils fabric was richly colored,
\nwith a classic look.
\nKing Charles spaniels, Westies, and pugs
\nwere framed by leafy vines.
\nThe vines have a shadow print,
\nwhich added depth to the pattern.<\/p>\n

Many of the dog fabrics combined two genres.
\nThis one features a dogs, ducks in flight,\u00a0 with a horn,\u00a0 and
\na huntsman’s leather pocket ona plaid background.<\/p>\n

Schumacher did a dog duck fabric as well.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This fabric has a bit of everything that might interest a sportsman!
\nThere are ducks, rabbits, quail, pheasant, rabbits,\u00a0 and a fishing rod and creel!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And, a lab who seems mesmerized by the ducks !<\/p>\n

One of the most popular dog fabrics we had was a toile by P.Kaufman.
\nIt featured dogs out and about on a fall day.<\/p>\n

There were three vignettes.<\/p>\n

While one shows the dogs surprising some pheasants,
\nanother shows them staring at birds with a quizzical look on their face-
\nas if to say, “What are those? “<\/p>\n

The last shows one tired out and\u00a0 panting,
\nand the other still ready to go!<\/p>\n

This also came in a salmon red tone and a blue.<\/p>\n
