Starfish fabrics have been the fabrics of the week!
\nAnd the the Grey Gold Starfish Fabric has been the standout winner!<\/p>\n

GREY GOLD STARFISH FABRIC<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

<\/p>\n

This is a large pattern with different starfish
\nfloating among coral branches and seaweed.<\/p>\n

This starfish fabric is a print.<\/p>\n

Bold in scale, the coloring is understated,
\nwith tones of
\ngrey, gold, yellow, sage, plum, and blue on a
\npale, silvery blue background.<\/p>\n

This pattern comes in two other colorways.
\nThere is also an all blue colorway, and a colorful version.<\/p>\n

The Blue Green Starfish Fabric is also understated.
\nIt has mix of\u00a0 colors that run from light to dark of
\ngreyed blues, greens, periwinkle, and sea glass with grey
\non a soft off-white greenish background.<\/p>\n

The last colorway has a great mix of colors.
\nThis\u00a0 version of the reef fabric has orange and yellow starfish that have
\ntouches of deep reddish brown.
\nGrey, lime,\u00a0 and powder blue add contrast.
\nThe watercolor effect gives many shades of colors- all on
\nan off-white background.<\/p>\n

One of the things people face when decorating with fabrics,
\nbesides having to choose a fabric they like, in colors that work for them, is the consideration of printed fabrics or woven patterns.<\/p>\n

I like a mix of the two for contrast.<\/p>\n

And the other starfish fabrics that have been popular this week
\nare woven upholstery fabrics,
\nwhich are great for just that.
\nWith their two toned sea stars against a solid background,
\nthey work well as a accents to many of the busier ocean patterns.<\/p>\n

There is a deep blue colorway and three other colors.<\/p>\n

The red is a true deep red color<\/p>\n

\nit is a warm golden tone.<\/p>\n

Two other starfish fabrics that work well with other patterns
\nare the sea star barkcloth fabrics.
\nThese are monochromatic, and have quite a lot of punch as they are on a snow white background.<\/p>\n

These are a print, and we have them in the dark blue and in a tan,
\non white.
\nThe other thing that sets these two fabrics apart is the groundcloth.
\nWoven as a bark cloth, it has a nubby texture that
\nadds a lot of interest.<\/p>\n
