We worked on getting this for over a year,
\nand, here it!<\/p>\n
There were problems with the original screens,
\nand colors had to be adjusted.
\nWhich meant, there had to be testing, testing, and more testing!<\/p>\n
For those that have this from Days of Yore:
\nthis is NOT the same as before.
\nThere is not just a dye lot difference-
\nthe whole fabric is different,
\nas it is on a different ground cloth.<\/p>\n
Think of this as a new fabric with an old design.<\/p>\n
It is still 100% cotton,
\nbut the fabric has a totally different weave, weight, and hand,
\nwith a very different feel.<\/p>\n
And, the colors are different-
\nthe old fabric had more of a washed look to the color tones.
\nThis new fabric is as close as we could get to the old.
\nBut, the colors are more vibrant.<\/p>\n
What do we like about this pattern?
\nIt is all the little details.<\/p>\n
Colorful buildings climb a hill,
\nwhich is surrounded by water.
\nLaundry flutters from lines,
\na roof top terrace has an umbrella.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A terrace is\u00a0edged with a balastrade,
\nwhich is abloom with flowers.
\nStairs lead down to a quay, where boats are docked,
\nand where nets are hung to dry.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n Another vignette shows a restaurant being set up for lunch. We do have another Venice fabric, This fabric shows Venice as an old master might have painted it. <\/p>\n There are two different scenes that are shown in rows, The other shows canals with gondolas.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n There is also an all blue colorway.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This fabric could be used for curtains and cushions, of course. \nAnd, in the background are the famous buildings of the town.<\/p>\n
\nwhich is very different.<\/p>\n
\nThe look is that of an antique oil painting.

\nOne scene is of a square in front of buildings,

\nBut, it could also be put on a stretcher and mounted like a painting!<\/p>\n
