{"id":4266,"date":"2020-11-22T20:27:56","date_gmt":"2020-11-22T20:27:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/?p=4266"},"modified":"2020-11-22T20:27:56","modified_gmt":"2020-11-22T20:27:56","slug":"exotic-animal-fabric-extinct-flora-and-fauna","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/exotic-animal-fabric-extinct-flora-and-fauna\/","title":{"rendered":"Exotic Animal Fabric Extinct Flora and Fauna"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We are super excited about our new Extinct Animal Fabric!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/exotic-animal-fabric-extinct-flora-and-fauna\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Extinct-a9.jpg\" alt=\"EXTINCT ANIMAL FABRIC\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">EXTINCT ANIMAL FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">First of all, this is one of the most unique fabrics<br \/>\nwe have seen in a long, long time!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 499px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Extinct-a9999.jpg\" alt=\"FLORAL and FAUNA FABRIC\" width=\"499\" height=\"399\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">FLORAL and FAUNA FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This shows extinct birds and animals-<br \/>\nstarting with the dodo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Jamaican monkey is shown,<br \/>\nalong with the quagga,<br \/>\nwhich is a subspecies of the plains zebra.<br \/>\nThe armour plated greater one horned rhino is pictured,<br \/>\nas well as another animal with scales on its back-<br \/>\nit resembles a species of peccary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">There is a bearded leopard on this,<br \/>\nbut I could not find any information on it.<br \/>\nAnd the bird of paradise appears to be the<br \/>\nlesser bird of paradise from New Guinea,<br \/>\nwhich is not extinct.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Extinct-a99.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">There is a huge array of flowers and leaves on this-<br \/>\nviolets, arums, and many other plants are shown,<br \/>\nwhich gives this a lot of details,<br \/>\nand a lot of interest.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">There is an added surprise-<br \/>\na jelly fish and coral are included!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Colors are vintage, muted tones,<br \/>\nwhich show well against the oatmeal background.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">One of the reasons I like this is the scale of the pattern.<br \/>\nWhile the vertical repeat is quite large- 31&#8243;,<br \/>\nthe actual design elements are not.<br \/>\nThe dodo is only 8 1\/2&#8243;
