Spring in Maine is a stop again, start again affair. A warm couple of days, followed by snow. And this year is no different. But, with the roll out of covid vaccinations, there is a definite sense of a long cold winter, and a long hard year, coming to an end.<\/p>\n

So, in keeping with this optimism, people have been buying pink. And, lots of it. Below are some of the fabrics with pink that have been of interest.<\/p>\n

PINK GREEN WINDOWPANE PLAID FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

<\/p>\n

The winner for sales has been the
\npink and green windowpane plaid.<\/p>\n

There is also another pink windowpane-
\nit is a softer pink and is paired with a peach tone.<\/p>\n

PINK AND PEACH WINDOWPANE PLAID FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

These are both pretty fabrics.
\nThe pink and green is more bold,
\nand has a crisp look to it.
\nThe pink and peach colorway is soft,
\nwith a gentle look.
\nThese windowpane plaids
\nhave the added interest of a small tassel
\nwhere the same colors intersect.
\nThese are nice for everything from
\ntable cloths to bedspreads and duvets.<\/p>\n

Clarence House’ silk taffeta, Tropo,
\nin pink has gotten a lot of interest.<\/p>\n

This has a plaid background of white and cream,
\nwith several shades of pink and lilac.
\nA toss of embroidered blossoms punctuate it.
\nThis has a soft look, but a crisp feel.<\/p>\n

There is not a lot of drape to it,
\nbut it would make wonderful Roman shades.<\/p>\n

The pink Anemone Flower Fabric
\nseems more of a summer fabric,
\nwith its many blooming meadow flowers.
\nIt is a pretty floral with pinks and plums and touches of yellow.
\nThis is a nice choice for curtains, cushions, and bedding
\nwhere one wants the look of a profusion of flowers.<\/p>\n

The Bird Cherry Fabric has always said spring to me.
\nIt is as if a flock of birds has flown in,
\nhaving wintered in a warmer area
\nand have chosen to rest
\nand eat the berries left over from the fall,
\nsurrounded by the trees’ spring flowers which are in full bloom.<\/p>\n

FRENCH PINK ANGEL STRIPE FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Pink Angel Stripe Fabric is a French toile with many details .
\nThe wide stripes have different angels with flowers
\ndone in shades of pink and violet,
\nbordered with pink stripes with buff yellow, pink, and violet.<\/p>\n
