We love aqua fabrics. And, we look for them. I think aqua is just such a happy color! And many agree. I don’t know if it is because people associate it with the color of tropical water, seen on vacation. But, most people I know like it.<\/p>\n

\"MATELASSE<\/a>
MATELASSE SEASHELL FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

<\/p>\n

When the Shell Trellis Matelasse fabric was discontinued,
\nwe bought what was left from the mill.
\nAnd, we still have a partial bolt.
\nIt has seashells framed by a rope trellis.
\nBut what makes it unique is its quilted look,
\nwith the shells standing out from the background.<\/p>\n

Many of the ocean fabrics we have do use a lot of
\naqua or teal\u00a0 in the pattern.<\/p>\n

The French tangle coral fabric has
\nvaried shades of aqua,
\nset off by a grey background.<\/p>\n

One of the seashell fabrics we have carried for years
\nhas shells in tones of aqua, seaglass green, and blue on an oatmeal background.
\nThis is a large pattern with over sized shells.<\/p>\n

The Tropical Fish Fabric has a background
\nof sky blue,
\nbut the fish are a mix of aqua, green, and blue.<\/p>\n

The Turtle Reef Fabric has a background of pure aqua.
\nI love the turtle-
\nhe looks as if he is flying through the water.<\/p>\n

For those who want something other than an ocean fabric
\nthere are several with aqua tones.<\/p>\n

Clarence House Fabrics did the pattern
\nFlorent in a blue and aqua colorway.
\nThis has a lovely feel and hand,
\nand is a good mixer for blues and greens.<\/p>\n

The Aqua Turquoise Persian Rug Fabric
\nis a blend of aqua tones,
\nset off by purple and citrus green.<\/p>\n

We have a hand print with paisley botehs
\ndone in aqua and blue.
\nIt has a very boho feel.
\nThe simplicity of the pattern is
\na nice change from many of the crowded over the top
\npatterns one is now seeing.<\/p>\n

For a super summery feel there is
\nthe Aqua Seersucker Fabric.<\/p>\n

This has the width of a home dec fabric,
\nand while it makes nice coverlets,
\nwe also have had people use it for shower curtains and bathrobes.<\/p>\n

We don’t have a lot of aqua florals.
\nBut the Aqua Floral Medallion Fabric
\nhas many aqua design elements.<\/p>\n
