We have carried this since it came out in 2015.
\nAnd, why do we love it?<\/p>\n
Well, first there is the amazing background color!
\nHard to describe, harder to picture!
\nIt is a wam tonal coral tone.
\nDepending on the light it can have a strawberry
\nor a salmon undertone.<\/p>\n
And, it has been printed on a slubbed groundcloth
\nwhich gives a subtle texture.<\/p>\n
Then, there is the pattern-
\npart floral, part Indienne,\u00a0 part jungle.
\nIt crosses many genres.<\/p>\n
And, then there is the whimsey!
\nThe leopard like cat sits, almost soulfully looking up.
\nAnd, then one notices that, almost unseen,
\nthere is a beast staring at him intently.<\/p>\n
What else is there to like?
\nDETAILS!<\/p>\n
For me, looking at a pattern,
\nI want to see details,
\nand this has many!<\/p>\n
Notice the way the branches of the tree form this rounded crown.
\nThe branches are placed symmetrically,
\nuntil the very top,
\ngiving a sense of symmetry
\nin this jungle riot of pattern and color.<\/p>\n
There are small simple flowers that are in contrast to the
\nlarger, more exuberant blossoms.<\/p>\n
And see the small bees that fill the spaces.<\/p>\n
The pattern on the branches of lines and splotches,
\nthat are a contrast to the leopard’s spots
\nis a really interesting touch.<\/p>\n
I\u00a0 like how the beast is colored-
\nwith the inside of the legs being a different color
\nfrom that on the outside of his legs and back.
\nAnd, how his ruff, belly, and derriere are a
\nfurther contrast.<\/p>\n
Can you guess I like this pattern?
\nWe carried three of the original colors,
\nof those, only the coral is still being printed.<\/p>\n
But, we have a remnant of one of those-
\nthe grey\/orange colorway.
\nThis has the interest of turquoise and yellow,
\nwith a grey background.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n We do have other jungle cat fabrics- You can see all of them in the<\/p>\n![\"ORANGE](\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Remnant-leopard-a9.jpg\")
\nbut they are all serious.
\nThis is the only one with a sense of fun!
\nAnd it is the only with that is colorful.<\/p>\n
