Lately it has been all about red fabrics!<\/p>\n

RED BIRD TOILE FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

<\/p>\n

This past week the color that sold the most was red.<\/p>\n

The red bird toile, which is
\nP.Kaufmann’s Aviary Toile in madder
\nis a standout.
\nIt has a nice pattern of birds, butterflies, and flowers.
\nThe deep red tone is offset by a a salmon pink tone,
\nthe the cream background gives warmth,
\nwhich a snow white background would not have.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Our scenic toile fabric with
\nroosters, chickens, chicks, and peacocks in a pastoral setting,
\nhas a beautiful tonal red background.<\/p>\n

The red horse racing fabric is unique for an equestrian fabric,
\nas it has a deep red background.
\nThis has been discontinued.
\nAnd, we are down to several small pieces,
\nand an eleven yard piece.<\/p>\n

When it is gone, it is gone.
\nSo, if you need a red equestrian fabric,
\nthis is it.<\/p>\n

Another toile fabric with a red background
\nis the Deer Toile Fabric.<\/p>\n

This is one of those patterns people just respond to.
\nWe bought the last there was of this from the mill,
\nand while we have one unopened bolt,
\nwe will not be getting more.<\/p>\n

I love the different vignettes with the
\nstags, does, and fawns.<\/p>\n

Going for a totally different look is this
\nsilhouette of a leaping deer on a red background.
\nThe leafy branches and trees give the subtle suggestion
\nof the deer being in woodlands.<\/p>\n

What sets this apart is not just the design,
\nbut that it has something added-
\nit has been woven with lurex threads for a
\nsubtle sparkle.<\/p>\n

It is perfect for pillows and
\nChristmas tree skirts, table runners,
\nand other holiday items.<\/p>\n

Speaking of winter,
\nthe red and black buffalo check says CABIN!<\/p>\n

This is a rather heavy fabric.
\nIt does have some drape,
\nbut would be super for a couch that gets a lot of use.
\nThis has a 1″ check.<\/p>\n

Lighter in weight is our 1 1\/2″
\nred and white buffalo check.<\/p>\n

I added a new red solid to the website.
\nThis is a nice basic,
\nwith a corded weave for texture.<\/p>\n

There is also a red tone on tone solid fabric.
\nIt is Salina,
\nby Clarence House.
\nIt has a woven in wavy stripe pattern.<\/p>\n

We have quite a few fabrics with red.
\nBut, the above were the ones that were of interest last week.<\/p>\n
