{"id":4610,"date":"2021-11-18T17:46:41","date_gmt":"2021-11-18T17:46:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/?p=4610"},"modified":"2021-11-18T17:46:41","modified_gmt":"2021-11-18T17:46:41","slug":"new-chicken-rooster-toile-fabrics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/new-chicken-rooster-toile-fabrics\/","title":{"rendered":"New Chicken Rooster Toile Fabrics"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Yep, we have two\u00a0 new chicken rooster toile fabrics.<br \/>\nWell, one is more of a farm fabric-<br \/>\nbut, it does have chickens!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 501px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/new-chicken-rooster-toile-fabrics\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Stof-rooster-nnnnnq.jpg\" alt=\"ROOSTER TOILE FABRIC\" width=\"501\" height=\"401\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">ROOSTER TOILE FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The first is a rooster toile.<br \/>\nThe scale is a really nice smaller size,<br \/>\nthe coloring is fall,<br \/>\nand the pattern has an interesting design element.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Stof-rooster-nnnnn.jpg\" width=\"502\" height=\"266\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Over the last ten years,<br \/>\nthe scale of patterns has gotten larger and larger.<br \/>\nThat means there is a lot of waste when pattern matching.<br \/>\nThis pattern is a welcome change, as the scale is quite small-<br \/>\nThe large colorful rooster looking left,<br \/>\nwith the tail feathers going down,<br \/>\nis about 5 3\/4&#8243; ( 14.605 cm. ) across.<br \/>\nAnd the repeat is also not too large- the vertical is 12 1\/2&#8243;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The coloring is very different.<br \/>\nThis rooster fabric goes out of the way to say &#8220;Fall&#8221;.<br \/>\nNot only is the plumage of the roosters tones of russet and gold,<br \/>\nplumes of grass done in the same colors give an autumnal effect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">What is interesting about this pattern, though,<br \/>\nis the drawings of the same roosters,<br \/>\ndone as toile line drawings,<br \/>\nused as the background.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone \" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Stof-rooster-nnnn.jpg\" width=\"501\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The other new fabric with chickens has more of a farm theme.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Farm-new-aaaaan_2.jpg\" alt=\"FRENCH COUNTRY FARM FABRIC\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">FRENCH COUNTRY FARM FABRIC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This has a design with vintage postcards,<br \/>\nthat interplay with many items French and farm related items.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">There are chickens, roosters, cows and sheep-<br \/>\ndone in a variety of styles- colored images and line drawings.<br \/>\nThere are grain sack seals,<br \/>\nand postal marks,<br \/>\nalong with French writing.<br \/>\nAnd, also, what looks like an old photograph<br \/>\nof an old farm house,<br \/>\nwhich adds another dimension.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Farm-new-aaaaabbbn.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This fabric also has a fairly small pattern with a small repeat.<br \/>\nWhen you look at it from a distance one sees<br \/>\nthe pattern elements were laid out in irregular rectangles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter \" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/mm5\/graphics\/00000001\/Farm-new-aaaaabbbbbb9_2.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"288\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0We do have another new chicken rooster fabric on the way-<br \/>\nit should be here soon,<br \/>\nand I hope to get it photographed right after it comes in.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">So, keep checking the<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/rooster_duck_fabric.html\">Rooster Chicken Fabric category<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">or the<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/new_fabric.html\">New Fabric category.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">to see the new fabrics as they come in!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Wishing all a Happy Thanksgiving next week,<br \/>\nand a safe, holiday season!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">____________________________________<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yep, we have two\u00a0 new chicken rooster toile fabrics.
