degrees F, at the house,<br \/>\nand if the wind is not blowing,<br \/>\nI like to go for a beach walk.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">On Saturday, the 7th, I checked the tide-<br \/>\nit would be low in the early afternoon.<br \/>\nAs that is usually the warmest part of the day,<br \/>\nI headed down to Pemaquid beach around 1 pm.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/pemaquid-beach-walk-january-7-2023\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5064\" center;\"><!--more-->The sky was over-cast,<br \/>\nthis was a monochromatic scene.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Whenever I walk the beach there seems to be a<br \/>\ntheme that emerges.<br \/>\nToday, for me,<br \/>\nthe walk was about patterns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Here the curve of the dunes,<br \/>\nbordered with a curve of snow,<br \/>\nechoed the curve of sand and water.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5066 \" 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The tides had been super high and super low during the last week&#8230;<br \/>\nwith a lot of surge and wind.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Walking toward the far end,<br \/>\nthere was a stretch of the beach covered in fairly large rocks,<br \/>\nthat had been moved up the sand by the tide.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-5068 aligncenter\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Clumps of seaweed formed a pattern<br \/>\nin the lea of the rocks at the end of the beach.<br \/>\nThis was unusual-<br \/>\nusually it is piled in tall banks<br \/>\nat the other end of the beach.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" center;\">A pattern similar to that of the seaweed was a<br \/>\nnearby grouping of small rocks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" 549px) 100vw, 549px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">It was in contrast to the rest of the beach<br \/>\nhad been swept nearly clean.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p see.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But, today, there were few.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This was piece of seaweed stood out,<br \/>\nit was one of the few things with color that I saw!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-5075 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.brickhousefabrics.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Jan-7-jj.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"440\" sizes=\"(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">There was an occassional shell-<br \/>\nhere two empty periwinkle shells sit amongst small rocks.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5076\" center;\">Further along,<br \/>\nwhere there was more grit,<br \/>\nwas a still life of stones, seaweeds, and coralline.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\"
