The summer solstice, the longest day of the year, has come and gone. Though the calendar year is not yet half over, the lengthening of the days, with earlier sunrises, and later sunsets, is.<\/p>\n

With the fields full of lupin,

\nit is hard to acknowledge the shortening of daylight has begun.
