African fabric Africa elephant giraffe blue R- 36"

An Africa fabric with elephants and giraffes. 

PLEASE NOTE: this fabric has been folded, and has some wrinkles. A sample was also taken off of the bottom left corner. 

A woman walks proudly through the African landscape, carrying a bundle of sticks on her head. An elephant and baby stand silhouetted against a full moon. A giraffe towers over all. Gradually one notices the square behind the giraffe has the pattern of its hide. And then one sees that the moon is patterned with elephant skin. A rectangle of tribal patterns completes the look.

This fabric is done in shades of brown, grey, black, and cream, with sky blue and a slate periwinkle blue. The background is beige. Colors have been over-printed, giving a tonal look to parts of the pattern. The effect from a distance is of deep brown, and grey with black, white, and the blues that sings against the light background.

This fabric is 54" wide. The woman is about 13" ( 33.02 cm. ) tall from the top of the bundle to the sole of her foot. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has a matt dry look, but a smooth feel. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, totes, etc.

The width of the fabric where the sample was taken is 41" across, and is 27" long; the piece over all would have been 54" x 36". It is the one in the pictures.
