Medieval fabric grey blue iron scroll work linen

A Medieval fabric. A fabric with the look of Medieval iron scroll work in blue and grey.

An interesting pattern. The scroll work has the look of Medieval iron, framing a central medalion with a leaf. The play between the light and dark, positive and negative spaces, makes for an intriguing fabric. The scale gives the design punch.

This is done in shades of grey with teal grey, powder blue, and beige. Colors are tonal, and have been printed to have a vintage, distressed look. The background is pale grey sponged over beige, with deeper grey striations. The effect from a distance is of deep grey, beige, and dusty greyed blue.

This fabric is 56 1/2" wide. The medalion is with the scroll work is just over 13" ( 33.02 cm. ) wide. This is a heavy mid-weight fabric. It has been woven with a slub for added texture and interest. It does have drape. It has a matt, dry look and feel. It is perfect for curtains, upholstery, etc.

    This is for a yard ( 36" ) cut.
