    Scale of item: The coxcomb flowers are about 6 1/2" ( 16.51 cm. ) across the widest part of the flower, and about 6" ( 15.24 cm. ) from the top of the flower to the branch; barley sugar columns are about 8 1/2" ( 21.59 cm. ) wide, including the roses and leaves.

    A red toile fabric. A floral stripe fabric with coxcomb flowers with a colonial feel.

    Rows of Celosia flowers, known as coxcomb, grow upward. They are embellished with other simple flowers. Between the rows are twisted barley columns. The columns are patterned with dots and a diamond motif. They are blooming with wild roses.

    The colors used are deep brown red, salmon pink, muted dusty grey blue, gold, golden buff beige, and cream. The background is the salmon tone with an over-lay of tonal brown red. The effect from a distance is of soft grey blue and cream, with golden tan details, on a tonal red. The red, depending on the light the background can look more cherry or orange.

    This fabric is 57 1/4" wide. The coxcomb flowers are about 6 1/2" ( 16.51 cm. ) across the widest part of the flower, and about 6" ( 15.24 cm. ) from the top of the flower to the branch; barley sugar columns are about 8 1/2" ( 21.59 cm. ) wide, including the roses and leaves. This has a twill weave, and has nice drape, and a smooth hand. It is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvet covers, etc.
