Aqua floral medallion fabric blue rose watercolor

An aqua floral medallion fabric with blue roses. This fabric reminds one of a fountain in one corner of a shady courtyard on a hot day.

A bouquet of stylized roses and flowers is surrounded by a half wreath of leaves, which forms a medallion. Trailing leafy branches surround the medallions, ending in stylized leaf and flower motifs. More scrolling leaves fill the spaces.

This is done in many shades of blue with lime green, aqua, cream, and beige. There has been over-printing, so many colors are seen. The effect from a distance is of purple-blue roses, with green, aqua, and white leaves on taupe, surrounded by the leafy wreath of cream, yellow green, and sharper lime, with bright aqua flowers and vines, on pale beige.

This fabric is 57 1/2" wide. The medallion, measured to the middle of the floral decoration that frames the medallion and wreath, is just under 13 1/4" ( 33.655 cm. ) wide. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has been woven with a slub, and is quite drapey. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvets, etc.
