Clarence House fabric tribal aqua blue purple ikat linen Tagore

A Clarence House Fabric. A tribal ikat in purple-blue and aqua for a modern look. This is an intensely colored pattern with punch.

A bulls eye of circles and dots are framed by a wandering ribbon embellished with hanging pom poms. Squiggles of color break up the inner space and add to the tribal feel.

The colors used are blue, muted dusty purple blue, a teal-aqua tone, deep blue green, beige, and tan. These have been over-printed and have a striated look. The effect is of tonal purplish blue, deep aqua, and tonal tan-beige. Depending on the light the purple blue tone can look more blue or more purple, the aqua can move to green, and the beige can look more yellow, grey, or tan.

This fabric is 57 3/4" wide. The framed motive is about 17 1/2" ( 44.45 cm. ), measuring to the middle of the dots between the motifs. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It been woven with a slub. It has a tight weave, a smooth hand, and nice drape. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvets, etc.

This is for a 23" cut, which gives two of the large motifs next to each other, with partials on the ends.
