An embroidered leaf fabric. A boho fabric with leafy branches. This has an open, airy look.
Heavy thread has been used to embroider leafy branches. The leaves themselves are just outlined, not filled. This is done in a pale burlap tone on an ivory background. The effect is calm, quiet, lovely.
This fabric is 54" wide. The repeat is about 10 1/2" horizontally, and about 13" vertically. The background fabric has been woven with a slub. The pattern is couched onto the background. The thread is laid down, and caught at interval with finer thread to hold it in place, which raises the leaves and branches from the background. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has a matte dry look and feel. It has drape. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, bedding, clothing, etc.
