A horse racing fabric. A French horse racing and jockey fabric.

This fabric is all about horse racing in France in the 1800's. There are jockeys riding horses flat out, horse portraits with horse shoes, names of race winners, and information on their stables. Caps and jockey colors complete the look.

Many colors are used. The colors are tonal. There has been over-printing, layering, and blending- so many tones are seen. The effect from a distance is of gold, deep red, dark blue, brown, black, charcoal, grey, and beige, with touches of sage and muted dusty blue on tan. The background is oatmeal with darker fleck.

This fabric is 54 1/2" wide. The horses are about 9" ( 22.86 cm. ) from nose to tip of tail, measuring along the fabric. This is a light mid-weigh home decorating fabric. It has drape. It has a matt dry look and feel. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, totes, upholstery, duvets, etc.
