A beige toile fabric with a lot of charm! What sets this apart is the small scale of the pattern.
Small country vignettes are framed by a flowering vine. There is the woman with a distaff of flax listening to a man playing a flute; a woman with her hoop and stick has paused to talk with a person; and both a shepherd and shepherdess with sheep are seen.
Colors are shades of black, charcoal, and white on a beige background. The background is slightly tonal.
