Orange green Colonial fabric Indienne Jacobean leaf linen

An orange and green Colonial leaf Indienne fabric. A Jacobean fabric with leaves, which has a colonial look.

Large swirling leaves, similar to those from an Indienne Tree of Life pattern, swirl across the fabric. The leaves are patterned with stripes, dots, and small floral motifs. The result is a fabric filled with color, pattern, and motion.

This fabric is done charcoal brown, light soft cocoa, clay, grey, dusty pine green, sage, muted green yellow, soft yellow green, rusty greyed orange, light muted orange, soft powdered grey blue, white, and cream. Colors are tonal, and there has been over-printing, so other tones are seen. The effect from a distance is of tonal shades of olive green and dusty burnt orange, with greenish golden yellow, soft cocoa, and grey with details of black on off-white.

This fabric is 57 1/4" wide. The green leaf with the small floral motif, not including the curling leaf at the top, is just under 10" from the top of the leaf to the stem, measuring along the fabric. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has been woven with a slub. It has a matte, dry look and feel. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, upholstery, etc.
