Victorian Style has rich colors and sumptuous textures, balanced by botanicals and documentary prints. Paisleys? Yes! Florals? Definitely! It was a time of great expansion, and people had access to fabrics and items from around the globe. Victorian homes were ecclectic mixes of things from Africa, the Far East, India, China, and the South Seas. Fabrics were layered and embellished with trims.
