A scenic Asian chinoiserie toile fabric with cranes and mountains. A beautiful pattern, done as an ink watercolor, it is reminiscent of vintage Oriental paintings.

Against a mountainous landscape a crane takes flight, watched by a pair on the ground. There are stunted pines and other trees, some of them flowering. There is a gracefulness to this pattern, the flow of the mountain forms, the flight of the cranes, which is different from many chinoiseries.

Colors are many shades and tones of blue.There are bright and muteds blue, some with undertones of purple, some with undertones of green. The background is white. The effect from a distant is tones of Delft blue with a variety lighter blues on white.
