Clarence House Brown Silk Damask Fabric, Ikat, Valli, Cognac

A brown silk damask fabric. A Clarence House fabric. The color on this is a deep rich cognac. It is stunning.

A diamond shaped motif has traditional motifs- with a the surprise of having been woven as an ikat. There are stylized tulips, acanthus leaves, scrolls, fleur des lyse, and, a central shield with an ethnic motif.

This is done in cognac and tan. The cognac background has a satin weave, and has shine; the design has a regular weave, and is more matte. Depending on the light the background can look brown, carmel, camel, or greyed out, and pattern can look more gold or more grey.

This fabric is 56" wide. The diamond motifs are about 25" ( 63.50 cm. ) wide and tall. This is a mid-weight woven damask. It is slightly stiff. It is perfect for curtain panels, cushions, upholstery, and duvets.

This is for a 50" cut, which gives two of the motifs next to each other, with partials on the end.
