A Clarence House Fabric- Menandre. This paisley pattern has an extremely large scale. This is a woven upholstery weight fabric.

Bold in scale, this paisley pattern is more subtle than one would think! The colored paisleys are positioned quite far apart and seem to float over a background of stylized paisley shapes, swirls, and lines.

Colors used are red, orange, yellow, light lemon, green, and taupe, with brown. The orange, yellow, and green have been woven together, making a bright varigated effect. The light lemon has been interwoven with the brown and red tones. Many different weaves give a lot of variation to the patterrn and the colors. From a distance one sees red with the varigated orange, yellow, green, with a lighter beige, cocoa, and deep brown tone. Depending on the light the red can look more orange red or red, and the browns can look more brown, grey, or green.
