A Japanese lantern fabric with a taupe brown background! The browns and russet color tones give this a fall or winter look.

Japanese lanterns hang at dusk. Most have floral patterns with shadings of golden tan, perfect for a fall look.

This is done in tones of taupe, deep violet, rose, russet, tobacco, deep olive green, greenish gold, tan, beige and cream with black and white. The colors have a watercolor look, with over-printing, giving even more colors. The background is the greenish taupe overlaid with deep taupe, giving a tonal effect. From a distance one sees purple, pink and cream beige flowers with leaves done in russet shades, with details of brown and black, on tan and beige lanterns against a tonal taupe brown background. Depending on the light the background can look more brown or more grey.
