Japanese lanterns hang at dusk. Most have floral patterns with shadings of golden tan, perfect for a fall look.

This is done in deep blue green, blue green, deep teal, olive, golden green, deep purple violet, deep pink, tobacco, gold, peachy gold, straw, and several golden creamy beige tones, with dark brown and black. The colors have a watercolor look, with over-printing, giving even more colors. The background is blue green overlaid with teal and deep blue green, giving a tonal effect. From a distance one sees purple, pink and cream beige flowers with leaves done in shades of green, with details of brown and black, on golden tan and beige lanterns against a tonal teal green background. Depending on the light the background can look more green or more blue.
