This is an intriguing fabric with vertical rows of connected medallions. The medallions have scroll work surrounding a stylized leaf pattern, with finials of fleur de lyse. The space between these rows is the same shape. But, the colors on these are reversed. So there are dark rows with a light pattern, and light rows with a dark pattern.

Colors are shades of grey, teal blue, light blue, beige, and cream. Colors are over printed and scritchily applied, giving a lot of tonal variations. From a distance one sees deep grey, oatmeal beige, and mineral blue. Depending on the light the beige can look more golden or grey, and the blue more greenish or blueish.

This fabric is 56 1/2" wide. The medalions are about 13" ( 33.02 cm. ) across the widest point. This is a heavy mid-weight fabric. It has a heavy basket weave, woven with a slub, and has a lot of texture. It is perfect for curtains, upholstery, etc.
