Large paisley motifs, the boteh, spring from an elaborate Indienne design. All parts of the Tree of Life are patterned with stylized flowers, leaves, and scrolling designs, making for an intricate pattern.

This is done in shades of deep blue, spruce green blue, Copen blue, with charcoal, taupe-grey, and black on natural linen. Colors have been sponged over one another making parts of the pattern tonal. The effect from a distance is of tones of very dark blue with taupe grey, and touches of green-blue, on a natural linen background.

This fabric is 57 1/2" wide. The large boteh is about 14 1/2" ( 36.83 cm. ) tall, measuring along the fabric. This is a mid-weight home decorating fabric. It has been woven with a slub. It is quite drapey. It has a matte, dry look and feel. It is perfect for curtains, cushions, duvets, etc.
