A variety of different Asian motifs form the background for a group of plates, pots, and ginger jars. There is a scrolling pattern, one with stylized chrysanthemums, one with poppy heads, and two different pierced lattice motifs, as well as others, all of which add depth to the pattern. The porcelains have floral motifs, with classic plum blossoms on the ginger jars.

Colors are shades of fuchsia and pink, some with a salmon underton, shades of asparagus green, beige, and white. Colors have a watercolor look, with tonal variations. The background pattern can look more grey or beige, depending on the light.
