Red Bird Fabric P.Kaufmann Aviary Toile Madder

This is P. Kaufmann's Aviary Toile fabric in madder. It is a red toile with birds, butterflies, and passion flowers.

Tree branches with leaves, flowers, and berries form a strong diagonal pattern across the fabric. Birds perch here and there as butterflies fly by.

Colors are deep red, deep musty rosy pink, flesh, and light cream on a deeper cream background. There has been over-printing so other tones of red and salmon are seen. The effect from a distance is of true red with deeper red and lighter salmon pink highlights on cream.
