Venice Fabric Antique Italian Painting

A Venice fabric. An antique Italian painting fabric. Once in a while a fabric comes along that makes one gasp... this one does. The images can not capture the depth of color on this. It is is amazing!

Two scenes of Venice alternate on this fabric that has the look of an antique oil painting. One shows the canals, filled with gondolas, and lined with buildings. The other shows one of the squares of the city.

The colors used are many and varied. There are ochers, umbers, beiges, rust, salmon, tans, blues, and greens, all splendidly tonal, just as a true oil painting would be. The effect is enlivened by daubes of colors. The effect is antique.

This is for a 50" cut, which gives both scenes, with partials on each end. As the fabric is cut, which scene is above the other will depend on the previous cut.

The position of the scene will depend on the previous cuts.
