French Toile Fabric- fabric of the week – 27 April 2013

The classic French toile fabric in deep grey and gold was the fabric of the week. Actually there were many different ways to view the fabrics that went out this week.. by category, pattern, and color, as well as the most sold.

The fabric that sold the most yardage
was the classic French toile de Jouy.

This toile pattern is the happiest toile going.
Filled with many details,
it just makes one feel good!

While the French gold and grey toile fabric sold the most yardage,
the pattern that sold the most was the
deer toile fabric.
While the red deer toile sold the most yardage of the deer,
the aqua deer toile pushed the amount of yardage sold to above the yardage for the gold and grey Toile de Jouy.

The deer toile fabric shows deer in nature.
There are does with fawns, young bucks jousting,
and a lead male bellowing into the wild.

DEER TOILE FABRIC

The color that had the most sales was gold.
A variety of different patterns with gold in it were shipped out.
This included the gold dog toile, the gold deer toile,
the gold rooster toile with plaid and paisley,
and a variety of other fabrics.

No matter how one looks at it, looking back at a week of fabric shipments is interesting!
While one would expect people in the northern hemisphere to want spring like colors,
it was the deep rich colors that were of interest!
