Week of July 15, 2012

Well, just back from the trip to NYC…

SUNDAY- July 15, 2012

First of all, it is HOT. Maine is hot, and dry. This is something we don’t normally get until August… but, there is no other word for it- H O T

Time to make gazpacho!

Last week we made a flying trip to New York city. See the new blog post with pictures in Sewing Notions, Maine Musings.

Business Trip, July 2012

WEDNESDAY- July 17, 2012

Monday night we got some rain! Oh, Joy, oh, Joy! We did need it. We awoke to hot fog this morning.. not so nice! But, it does give the ground a break from direct sun.

LISTING THIS WEEK
Destash pieces

Sailboat model fabric- 3 pieces, each with an issue.

Thibaut horse fabric- a short piece with a dye print flaw

Renaissance toile fabric- a short 24″ piece.

Alligator cheetah monkey fabric- a short piece- 27″

SOMETHING of INTEREST

Sometimes when the orders come in one is struck by coincidences! Within five minutes people from across the country ordered yellow fabrics- the yellow seahorse is off to New Hampshire, the yellow Pierre Deux toile is going to Michigan, and the older yellow chicken toile is heading to Florida… did someone out there yell out, “BUY YELLOW“? One just wonders!

Off to cut yellow fabrics!
More destash coming!
