OCEAN FABRIC SALE!

As many of you know we rarely have sales. We try to hold our costs as best we can, faced with the ever rising cost of goods. But, we have a lot of things coming in and decided to put some things on sale that have NEVER been on sale before. To celebrate the season we decided that the Ocean Fabrics would be nice! So, most of the woven fabrics- including the embroidered seahorses, and all of the older fabrics in the Ocean Fabric category are marked down for one week only.

People who read the blog get first chance… so if you have wanted the seahorse, or angelfish upholstery fabric, now is your chance!

Today was one of those days when things did not go the way one plans. Have you ever read the Lois Lowry books about Anastasia? There is one where Anastasia and her father decide they can set up a schedule for Anastasia’s mother to make life easier and smoother… the results are amusing. Every day Anasatia and her father arrive home, expecting their schedule to be working perfectly; only every day there is something that gets in the way of the schedule… and then Mom has to go away on business, and Anastasia and her Dad are in charge…

Well, today was going to include having a drier fixed and a vet visit… The repair man was running late, and the vet visit had to be cancelled, as the tree man who was going to remove the old blue spruce from the back field, could suddenly fit the job in. With a break in what I am now calling the June Gloom, no to the tree guy was not an option… such is life!

Restorative soup is needed!

Oh, if you get a chance read the Anastasia books…
they are a fun read, and like all good juvenile books,
they are fun for adults as well!
