Purple Toile Fabric- Fabric the Week – 31 May 2013

While there was no clear cut winner for fabric of the week, purple was definitely the most popular color of the week.

The two most popular purple fabrics are the purple Eiffel Tower fabric
and the double wide purple French toile fabric.

The purple Eiffel Tower fabric is unique,
a one of a kind retro, modern, Paris toile fabric-
all in one!

This unique Paris Fabric
features famous landmarks of Paris
in a large scale design of
shades of purple and black on tan.

At the other end of the design scale
is the French country purple toile fabric.

The purple French toile fabric has bucolic scenes
that are classics of the Toile de Jouy.
This is a double wide fabric,
that comes from France.

For shell fabrics,
the funky seashell defintely was the most popular.

THE FUNKY SEASHELL FABRIC

People just love this, with the clear, fun colors of the shells
against the background of beige coral.

The large colored shells on tan
also had considerable notice this week.
Usually they are more popular in the fall!

This shell fabric has really unusual colors.
Several people have used this to create wall hangings,
by cutting the fabric into thirds
and stretching them on stretchers to hang.
